About the job: Designation: Accounts & Fund Operations Executive (Admin & Compliance) Location: Lower Parel, Mumbai, India Position: On-site, Full-Time Company: IndusBridge Fund Managers is the Investment Manager to a SEBI-registered Category II Alternative Investment Fund focused on Aerospace, Defence & dual-use technologies. About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts & Fund Operations Executive to support the day-to-day accounting, administrative, banking, and compliance activities of the Investment Manager. The role will support operations relating to the fund, its investors, and portfolio Companies, ensuring smooth financial operations and regulatory compliance. This position requires strong organizational skills, financial discipline, and the ability to work in a regulated investment management environment. Key Responsibilities -Accounting & Bookkeeping • Maintain books of accounts for the Investment Manager and related entities. • Process invoices, expense claims, reimbursements, and vendor payments. • Maintain general ledger, journal entries, and supporting documentation. • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements. • Coordinate with external chartered accountants and auditors for audits and financial statements. • Track management fees, expenses, capital inflows and reimbursements relating to the fund. -Banking & Treasury Operations • Manage company and fund bank accounts, including payment processing and reconciliations. • Maintain bank reconciliations and cash flow statements. • Assist in capital call logistics and fund distribution payments where applicable. • Coordinate with banking partners for documentation, compliance & operational matters. -Fund Administration Support • Track investor records, capital commitments, and drawdown schedules. • Maintain documentation related to portfolio investments, SPVs, and fund structures. • Liaise with fund administrators, legal advisors, and tax advisors as required. -Compliance & Regulatory Findings • Support compliance activities relating to the fund and the Investment Manager. • Maintain statutory payments, filings, registers, corporate records, and regulatory documentation. • Assist in preparing statutory filings and documentation required by regulators • Track compliance deadlines and coordinate with legal/compliance advisors. -Documentation & Record Management Maintain organized digital and physical records of: • Investment agreements • Board/shareholder documents • Portfolio company documentation • Vendor contracts • Investor communications • Ensure secure and well-structured data storage and document version control. - Portfolio Company Support • Assist with documentation relating to portfolio company investments. • Track investment disbursements and follow-up documentation. • Maintain cap table and investment tracking records where required. • Support coordination between portfolio companies and the fund manager on administrative matters. -Administrative & Operational Support • Coordinate vendor payments and service provider relationships. • Support office administration, including procurement & record keeping. • Assist with scheduling meetings, maintaining board minutes, and documentation. • Provide operational support for investor meetings, audits, and due diligence processes. Qualifications & Experience -Education: • Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or related field. • CA Inter / CMA / MBA Finance preferred. -Experience: 23 years of experience in: • Accounting • Fund administration • Financial services operations • CA or investment firm Experience working with AIFs, venture capital funds, or private equity funds is highly desirable. Skills & Competencies Strong accounting and bookkeeping knowledge. • Familiarity with Indian corporate compliance and financial regulations. • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks). • Strong Excel and financial data management skills. • High attention to detail and documentation discipline. • Ability to manage multiple processes and deadlines. Prefered Attributes • Prior exposure to investment funds, venture capital or private equity. • Familiarity with fund structures, capital calls, and investor reporting. • Professional integrity and strong confidentiality practices. • Interest in the aerospace, defence, and deep-tech ecosystem.
