Technical Writer & Assistant Documentation Controller

Immediate opening for Documentation Controller & Technical Writer. We are looking for some one who assist with project management tasks for documentation. Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and milestones for documentation deliverables. Work with the Documentation Controller to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of documentation deliverables for multiple platforms, families, and products within the MC Business Unit. Your Role Key responsibilities in your new role • Assist with project management tasks for documentation: • Work with the Documentation Controller to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of documentation deliverables for multiple platforms, families, and products within the MC Business Unit. • Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and milestones for documentation deliverables. • Proactively address timeline conflicts and ensure deliverables meet agreed deadlines. • Liaise with global stakeholders including Product Managers, Engineers, Technical Experts and Marketing teams. • Facilitate alignment and communication between stakeholders to resolve timeline and scope challenges. • Be responsible for documentation deliverables that meet the required documentation standards and processes • Pro-actively drive the workflow from information creation to external release at given milestones, working closely with SMEs • Convert and standardize documentation to the meet the company and business unit policies and best practice • Create graphics to the required standards and ensure the quality and consistency of our documentation • Contribute solutions and ideas to improving the efficiency and accuracy of our documentation deliveries • Support and train engineers as necessary to comply with the documentation processes and flows • Actively participate in knowledge sharing and development of best practices with other team members Your Profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed • Must have degree in a related field such as computer science, technical communication or electrical engineering • Excellent written and spoken English language skills and knowing German language will be added advantage. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with global stakeholders • Good technical skills with the ability to learn quickly with methodical approach and keen eye for detail • Basic understanding of product development lifecycles and technical content creation. • Must have good knowledge on DITA XML • Should have good understanding and knowledge of the concept of modular documentation • Understanding of a Component Content Management System (CCMS) is must. • Experience with version control systems such as Git is must • Ability to work with cross-functional teams across multiple sites • Flexibility to quickly respond to higher priority concerns and willingness to continuously learn • Experience with multilingual and multicultural projects will be preferred. • Good to have certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) • Familiarity with JIRA, Coding skills, particularly python and Knowledge of Jenkins Contact: AnandNarendrakumar.Rawal@infineon.com #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
