Senior Shopify Developer

Job Title: Senior Shopify Developer Experience Required: 6–10 Years Location: Pune Employment Type: Full-time Work Type: Work From Office Joining: 1 Month or Immediate Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Senior Shopify Developer to lead the development, customization, and optimization of Shopify-based eCommerce platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in Shopify, theme development, API integrations, and performance optimization. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain Shopify eCommerce websites (Shopify & Shopify Plus). • Customize themes using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Shopify APIs. • Build custom Shopify apps and integrate third-party applications. • Optimize website performance, speed, and SEO best practices. • Implement payment gateways, shipping solutions, and third-party APIs. • Collaborate with UI/UX designers and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. • Ensure website security, scalability, and responsiveness. • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly. • Mentor junior developers and review code quality. Required Skills & Qualifications: • 6–10 years of experience in web development, with strong expertise in Shopify. • Hands-on experience with Shopify Liquid, custom theme development. • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS. • Experience with Shopify REST & GraphQL APIs. • Knowledge of app integrations and custom app development. • Understanding of SEO principles and website performance optimization. • Experience with version control (Git). • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Preferred Skills: • Experience working on Shopify Plus. • Familiarity with headless commerce. • Knowledge of React or other front-end frameworks. • Prior experience in handling international eCommerce projects. Soft Skills: • Strong communication skills. • Ability to work independently and in a team environment. • Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
