The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, understands machining principles, and can maintain high quality and safety standards. Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate manual (conventional) milling machines. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. Select appropriate tools, cutters, and materials for each job. Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and gauges. Machine parts to required tolerances and quality standards. Adjust machine settings to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Deburr, clean, and inspect finished components. Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area. Report production or quality issues to the supervisor.
