Senior Java Developer - Spring Boot - (Immediate Joiner only)

Job Description: We are actively seeking a Senior Java Developer with a strong background in Java and related technologies to design, develop, and maintain key software applications within our investment banking division. This role requires a candidate with deep expertise in J2EE (v17), Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Hibernate, JPA, and Swagger/OAS3.x to support high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop secure, scalable, and high-performance software solutions for mission critical, highly available, and high data volume enterprise applications. • Develop RESTful APIs and microservices-based solutions, ensuring alignment with architectural standards. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. • Write and maintain unit tests using JUnit and Mockito to ensure code quality. • Conduct quality and security scans using tools like Sonar. • Work with database technologies, primarily Oracle, PostgreSQL, and PL/SQL scripting. • Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to ensure high-quality deliverables. Technical Expertise: • 4+ years of hands-on coding experience with Java. • Strong knowledge on Java 11 or plus is must. • Strong proficiency in J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Event Driven Architecture, Kafka, API frameworks etc. • Experience designing and building RESTful APIs using a microservices architecture. • Proficiency in writing unit tests with JUnit and Mockito. • Working knowledge of quality and security scanning tools such as Sonar. • Familiarity with version control systems, CI/CD pipelines and release process. • Solid understanding of Oracle databases and PL/SQL scripting. Preferred Expertise: • Hands-on experience with Python development. • Hands-on experience with DataBricks, PySpark. • Good understanding of real time data streaming pipeline • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure and a strong understanding of microservices architecture. • Background in DevOps practices and tools, including Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
