Network Engineer

Job Summary: We are hiring Field Engineers for night shift preventive maintenance of Networking devices at client locations. The role involves working during off-business hours (12 AM – 6 AM) to perform scheduled health checks, basic troubleshooting, and upkeep of networking devices. Candidates must be comfortable working independently at odd hours and have hands-on knowledge of Networking devices. Key Responsibilities: Perform preventive maintenance and routine health checks on Networking devices and related networking equipment Visit client sites as per scheduled plan (night hours only) Document observations, complete checklists, and submit daily maintenance reports. Ensure minimum downtime and escalate critical issues to the NOC or senior network team Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols Maintain professionalism during client interactions Coordinate with team leads or managers for daily assignments and updates Required Skills & Qualifications: Any Graduate or Diploma or Degree in Electronics, IT, Networking, or relevant field Fresher or 1+ years of experience in networking fieldwork (Cisco devices preferred) Basic knowledge of Networking devices configuration and diagnostics Willingness to work night shifts regularly Strong understanding of IP networking basics (routing/switching) Ability to travel to different locations for maintenance tasks Good documentation and reporting skills Must have a smartphone and basic tool kit like Blower, Screwdriver etc. Must have a laptop Valid ID proof – mandatory for client site access CCNA (preferred but not mandatory) Preferred: Previous experience with fieldwork in ISP/telecom domain Experience working on Cisco NCS/ASR series Immediate joiners will be preferred • It is a Full Time Hardware / Network Engineer job for candidates with 0 - 5 years of experience.
