As a diploma engineer - Civil, you will play a key role in executing and supervising site activities, ensuring quality construction, and supporting the engineering team in delivering efficient and durable project outcomes. This role involves 70-80% field work and 20-30% design and documentation support. Key Responsibilities: 1. Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at project sites including foundations, sheds, drainage systems, flooring, tanks, and utility structures. 2. Monitor site progress, manpower, and material usage to ensure work is executed as per drawings and project schedule. 3. Conduct measurements, prepare work reports, and assist in billing verification for contractors. 4. Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to company standards at site. 5. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams for smooth project execution. 6. Assist the design team in preparing and modifying 2D drawings using AutoCAD. 7. Support in preparing BOQs, quantity take-offs, and basic structural layout plans. 8. Participate in site inspections and technical discussions during project review meetings. 9. Maintain proper documentation of site activities, approvals, and material records. 10. Stay updated with construction practices, materials, and regulatory requirements relevant to industrial and agricultural infrastructure. Skill(s) required AutoCAD Earn certifications in these skills Other requirements 1. A diploma in civil engineering is preferred. 2. 0–2 years of experience in industrial, warehouse, agricultural, or factory construction projects. 3. Working knowledge of AutoCAD (2D mandatory; 3D preferred). 4. Strong site supervision and coordination skills. 5. Willingness to travel and work extensively on project sites. 6. Basic understanding of structural drawings, estimation, and execution practices.
