Job Title: Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist – University Recruitment
Department: Human Resources

Reports To: HR Manager
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist – University Recruitment to lead the hiring of high-quality academic and administrative talent. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in faculty recruitment, academic hiring, and higher education talent acquisition, with the ability to manage end-to-end recruitment for roles such as Registrar, HODs, Professors, Assistant Professors, and key administrative staff.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for faculty, researchers, and administrative positions.
• Source potential candidates through LinkedIn, academic job portals, professional networks, and referrals.
• Screen applications, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate the selection process with academic panels.
• Organize and manage faculty interview panels, academic committees, and recruitment drives.
• Collaborate with department heads, deans, and leadership to understand hiring requirements and job specifications.
• Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies for academic and leadership roles.
• Maintain candidate databases, recruitment trackers, and documentation to ensure organized hiring processes.
• Coordinate the offer management and onboarding process for selected candidates.
• Ensure recruitment practices comply with institutional policies, academic standards, and regulatory guidelines.
• Prepare recruitment reports, hiring analytics, and workforce planning insights for management review.
Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
• 5–7 years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment.
• Prior experience in university, college, or higher education recruitment will be highly preferred.
• Experience in hiring faculty, researchers, academic leaders, and administrative professionals is an advantage.
