Role: Senior Manager – Commercial Lines Underwriting & Claims Industry Type: General Insurance Broking Responsibilities: We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager for Commercial Lines Underwriting & Claims to join our Riverbank Insurance Brokers Team. - Conversant with Preparation of RFQ for Fire, IAR, Marine & Engineering RFQ proposal. - Understanding of Client business to provide tailored solutions to their specific requirements. - Review and correcting of risk, risk audit report and portfolio GAP Analysis. - Identifying the Insurer best suited for the company as well as the client and strengthening the relationship with the insurer. - Preparation of RFQ & QCR and insurer selection based on Price- Coverage-Service-Flexibility. - Assistance in Techno-marketing and communicating the USP in quote. - Presentations to clients on claims capability and claims management, Involvement in GAP Analysis - Involvement in Factory visit for Risk Inspection and subsequent Implementation. - To mentor and coach commercial claims team and provide regular feedback and training. - Manage and oversee the handling of complex commercial claims, including property, Burglary, marine, engineering policies. - Ensure claims are handled in compliance with Insurance company policies, industry standards, & regulations. - Liaison with Surveyors & Insurer’s Claim Handlers. - Recommending Property Value-added services (VAS programs) and driving their implementation viz. Electrical Audit and Thermography. - Act as a point of escalation for complex or sensitive claims issues. Requirements and skills - Proven experience of around 5 to 10 years in Commercial Lines – Claims & Underwriting handling. - Valuable comprehensive knowledge of insurance products including Property Insurance, Marine Transit Insurance, Engineering Insurance ,Liability Insurance, etc. - Excellent skills in presentations, communication, negotiation and problem solving. - Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and claims management systems. - Minimum Education criteria: Graduation in any stream, Engineering background will be an added advantage. Salary Range: 12-15 LPA
