As we move into 2026, Intelligate is aggressively expanding its footprint into Europe, seeking high-intellect individuals to support this global scaling phase.The Role: High-Precision Database EngineeringAt the 24 year experience level, we expect more than syntax knowledge. We are looking for a Functional SQL Developersomeone who can look at a logistics requirement (like "real-time carrier booking" or "cross-docking efficiency") and translate it into high-performance database logic with minimal re-work.You will be responsible for ensuring that as our data volume grows from 50 sites to hundreds, our product remains fast, accurate, and reliable.Key ResponsibilitiesFunctional Translation: Quickly grasp the functional logic of our logistics product. You should be able to deliver technical requirements that align perfectly with business needs on the first attempt.Advanced SQL Development: Write (With help of ChatGPT) and optimize complex queries, stored procedures, and triggers that handle high-concurrency data from global sites.Performance Tuning: Identify bottlenecks in existing queries and perform indexing and execution plan analysis to ensure sub-second response times.Data Integrity & Migration: Manage data consistency across multiple environments and assist in the seamless migration of data as we onboard new global sites.Collaboration: Work as a bridge between the Technical Program Managers and the Core Engineering team to ensure data structures support new product capabilities.Who You AreThe Intellectual "Grasper": You have a proven ability to learn a new product's functional flow within days, not weeks. You test your own edge cases and ensure your delivery is production-ready.Growth-Oriented: You have 24 years of solid experience but are hungry to apply those skills in a fast-paced, high-impact Startup environment.Problem Solver: You don't just report bugs; you find the root cause in the data layer and propose structural fixes.Required Skills & QualificationsExperience: 24 years of professional experience as a SQL Developer, Database Developer, or Data Engineer.Technical Mastery: * Expert-level SQL (SQL Server).Deep understanding of Joins, Subqueries, CTEs, and Window Functions.Proven experience in Database Schema Design and Normalization.Strong hand in Query Optimization and using Explain Plans.Domain Knowledge: Previous experience in Logistics, E-commerce, or Supply Chain systems is highly preferred.
