Nutritionist (Product Formulation & Development)

Role Overview We are looking to onboard a Freelance Nutritionist to support our formulation and product development initiatives. This role will work closely with the R&D and product teams to strengthen existing formulations and guide the development of nutritionally superior, market-relevant products. The engagement will be project-based and need‑specific, making it an ideal opportunity for professionals seeking flexible, consulting‑style work. Key Responsibilities • Provide expert guidance on addition, optimization, and balancing of vitamins and minerals in product formulations • Evaluate and enhance the overall nutritional value and efficacy of existing and upcoming products • Suggest trending, consumer‑acceptable sweeteners and functional ingredients aligned with clean‑label expectations • Support formulation decisions in line with current nutrition, wellness, and functional food trends • Ensure product positioning aligns with consumer needs, nutrition trends, and brand philosophy • Collaborate with internal R&D and product teams to refine formulations and improve credibility Preferred Qualifications & Experience • Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Nutrition, Life Sciences, Food Science, Health Sciences, or a related discipline from a reputed institute • Hands‑on experience in nutrition‑based product formulation, nutraceuticals, functional foods, or dietary supplements • Strong knowledge of vitamins, minerals, sweeteners, functional actives, and nutritional ingredients • Awareness of current market and consumer trends in nutrition and wellness • Exposure to regulatory guidelines (FSSAI or equivalent) will be an added advantage Engagement Type Freelance / Consultant / Project-Based
