QA Engineer-Data

QA Engineer - Data Engineering & Analytics Location - Mohali, Punjab (On-site) We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer with a strong background in data and ETL testing to join a growing Data Engineering & Analytics team. In this role, you will focus on ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and quality of large-scale data pipelines built on Databricks and Azure. You will work closely with data engineers, developers, and product owners to translate business requirements into comprehensive test strategies and automated validation frameworks. This is an excellent opportunity for a QA professional who enjoys working with data platforms, cloud technologies, and automated testing frameworks. Required Skills & Experience: • 5+ years of experience in Data/ETL Testing or Data Quality Engineering • Strong experience with SQL and complex data validation • Hands-on experience with Python and PySpark • Experience testing Databricks and Delta Lake environments • Familiarity with Pytest or automated testing frameworks • Experience working with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) • Understanding of data modelling, data governance, and data quality practices • Experience working in Agile delivery environments Nice to Have: • Experience with Delta Live Tables (DLT) pipelines • Understanding of Change Data Capture (CDC) processes • Experience testing Parquet, CSV, JSON and other open data formats • Exposure to Databricks monitoring and quality expectation frameworks • Databricks certification
