ob Description - Key Responsibilities1 - Dispensing Patient CareDispense prescribed medications accurately as per doctors orders - Provide medication counseling to patients on dosage, usage, storage, and side effects - Verify prescriptions for dose, interactions, allergies, and contraindications - Handle OPD, IPD, emergency, ICU, and OT pharmacy requirement 2 - Pharmacy OperationsMaintain proper storage conditions (temperature, humidity, cold chain) - Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices and expiry control - Monitor and maintain narcotic and high-risk drug registers as per law - Support unit-dose dispensing and floor stock management - 3 - Inventory Stock ManagementMonitor stock levels and raise indent/reorder requests - Receive, check, and document inward stock (GRN) - Prevent stock-outs, pilferage, and expiry losses - Coordinate with purchase and stores for timely availability of medicines - 4 - Documentation ComplianceMaintain pharmacy records, logs, and statutory registers - Ensure compliance with the Drugs Cosmetics Act, the Pharmacy Act, and hospital SOPs - Support NABH, NABL, and internal audits - Maintain billing accuracy and HIS documentation - 5 - Coordination SupportCoordinate with doctors, nurses, billing, and stores departments - Participate in drug audits, formulary management, and pharmacovigilance activities - Report adverse drug reactions (ADR) as per protocol - 6 - Emergency Shift DutiesEnsure availability of emergency drugs and crash cart medications - Perform shift duties, night duties, and on-call responsibilities as required - Qualifications:D - Pharm / B - Pharm / M - Pharm from a recognized institution - Valid State Pharmacy Council Registration (mandatory) - Freshers or 15 years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred - Skills Required:Strong knowledge of medications and hospital pharmacy practices - Attention to detail and accuracy - Positive communication and interpersonal skills - Basic computer skills and familiarity with HIS/pharmacy software - Abi
