Script Editor

Responsibilities: • Conduct first-level quality control of AI-generated Enriched Master Template for AI subtitle translation, ensuring alignment with project specifications • Edit and adjust scripts for grammar, coherence, timing, and natural delivery • Use QC checklists and tools to document reviews and contribute to data-driven feedback loops • Maintain project timelines and work in sync with X.Sub Leads and Project Managers • Report recurring issues or systemic challenges to the Senior QC or X.Sub Language Manager • Collaborate with team leads and peers across different regions and time zones • Support continuous improvement by tracking frequent errors and proposing fixes • May be assigned ad hoc QC reviews on pilot projects or new client formats • Stay current with Alto tools and evolving editorial workflows • Support knowledge sharing, training and onboarding for new editors or freelancers • Conduct structured training sessions for new freelance editors to ensure consistency in quality and workflow standards Skills and experience required: • Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Media, Hindi, or related field • 1–2 years of experience in subtitling, post-editing, or language QA • Proficiency in Hindi with high attention to detail in written and spoken form • Ability to follow structured QC workflows while identifying improvement areas • Confidence in managing volume and consistency in fast-paced environments • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Familiarity with AI Subtitling tools
