Fire Security Engineer

Job Description: The Fire Security Engineer Jayraj Fire and Security Systems Title: The Fire Security Engineer Location: JP Nagar, Bengaluru Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Required: 2 Years The Fire Security Engineer: responsible for configuring, programming, testing, and commissioning fire alarm and integrated security systems. The role ensures systems operate according to design specifications, regulatory standards, and client requirements. Key Responsibilities Program and configure addressable and conventional fire alarm panels. Set up detectors, modules, sounders, and interface devices. Implement Cause & Effect logic as per approved drawings. Perform loop testing, device addressing, and system configuration. Conduct functional testing and I/O verification. Support full system commissioning and client demonstrations. Identify and rectify basic panel faults and communication errors. Coordinate with site teams during testing and inspections. Prepare commissioning reports and as-built documentation. Ensure systems comply with applicable fire safety standards and authority requirements. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in fire alarm programming and commissioning. Basic knowledge of fire alarm systems and safety standards. Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams. Willingness to work on-site as required.
