🚀 AI / ML Engineer – Applied AI & Intelligent Systems

Our engineering team is intentionally small and highly technical (8–9 members), allowing engineers to work directly on architecture, product innovation, and emerging technologies like AI-assisted development, automation, and intelligent systems. We are currently expanding our capabilities in Applied AI, LLM integrations, and intelligent automation. 🎯 Role Overview We are looking for a Lead AI / ML Engineer who can design and implement production-grade AI systems and also lead a small team of 3–4 AI engineers or developers. This role combines AI engineering, MLOps, system architecture, and leadership. You will help build AI infrastructure, model pipelines, intelligent automation systems, and LLM-based applications that integrate directly into our products. 🧠Key Responsibilities • Design and deploy production-grade AI/ML systems • Lead and mentor a team of 3–4 junior AI/ML engineers • Build and maintain MLOps pipelines for model training, deployment, and monitoring • Implement LLM-based systems, RAG architectures, and intelligent automation workflows • Design AI architecture for scalable applications • Collaborate with full-stack engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities into products • Ensure best practices for model performance, monitoring, and scalability 💻 Technical Skills RequiredProgramming • Python (Strong) • API development • Backend system integration AI / ML • Machine Learning fundamentals • LLM integration and prompt engineering • NLP / intelligent automation systems • Recommendation engines or prediction systems MLOps (Very Important) Experience with: • ML pipelines and model lifecycle management • Model deployment and monitoring • Experiment tracking and versioning • CI/CD for ML systems Tools may include: • MLflow • Kubeflow • Airflow • Docker / Kubernetes AI Frameworks Experience with one or more: • LangChain • LlamaIndex • HuggingFace • Open-source LLM frameworks Data Systems • Vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, FAISS) • PostgreSQL / MongoDB • Data pipelines ⭐ Leadership Skills • Experience managing 3–5 engineers or developers • Ability to guide junior engineers and review AI/ML code • Strong system architecture thinking • Comfortable working in startup-style environments with high ownership 🎓 Experience • 3 – 5+ years software / AI engineering experience • 2+ years leading AI/ML initiatives or teams • Experience deploying AI models in production systems 🌟 Why Join Us In this role you will: • Build AI systems used in real products • Lead the development of our AI engineering capability • Work directly with founders on AI strategy and architecture • Build systems using LLMs, automation, and intelligent pipelines • Work in a small, highly technical engineering environment 📩 How to Apply If you enjoy building practical AI systems that power real products, we would love to hear from you.
