Purchase Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a trustable and highly responsible Purchase Manager for our manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong integrity, accountability, and negotiation skills while ensuring smooth procurement operations and accurate reporting. The role requires close coordination with production teams, regular floor visits, and maintaining real-time inventory and purchase records through ERP and Excel. Key Responsibilities: • Preparation and processing of Purchase Orders (PO) as per production requirements. • Daily reporting of production and purchase activities in ERP and Excel. • Update day-to-day stock records and monitor inventory levels. • Conduct regular floor visits to understand material requirements and production status. • Coordinate with production and store departments to ensure timely availability of raw materials and consumables. • Handle vendor negotiations to secure the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms. • Maintain proper documentation and ensure accuracy in purchase records. • Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships. • Ensure procurement activities follow company policies and ethical standards. Key Skills & Qualities: • Trustworthy with high integrity and ethical standards. • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. • Good knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Excel. • Ability to maintain accurate stock records and reporting. • Strong coordination with production and store teams. • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Qualification: • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field. • 8-10 years of experience in purchase/procurement in a manufacturing unit preferred.
