Job Title: PGT – Physical Education School: JKG International School, Indirapuram Location: Indirapuram, Ghaziabad We are seeking a passionate and experienced Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – Physical Education to lead and enhance the school’s sports and fitness programs for senior classes. The candidate will be responsible for developing structured physical education curriculum, organizing sports events, training students for inter-school competitions, and promoting overall physical wellness. Key Responsibilities Academic & Curriculum Responsibilities • Plan and deliver Physical Education curriculum for senior classes (IX–XII) as per CBSE norms. • Prepare annual lesson plans, unit plans, and assessment strategies. • Conduct theory and practical classes effectively. • Evaluate student performance and maintain academic records. • Integrate health education, fitness awareness, and sports psychology basics. Sports & Training Responsibilities • Identify and train students for inter-school, district, state, and national-level competitions. • Coach school teams for various sports such as Athletics, Basketball, Football, Cricket, Volleyball, etc. • Develop structured fitness and conditioning programs. • Ensure safe use of sports equipment and facilities. Event & Activity Management • Organize Annual Sports Day, Inter-House competitions, and sports tournaments. • Coordinate with other schools and sports bodies for participation. • Promote participation in CBSE cluster and zonal events. Administrative Responsibilities • Maintain inventory of sports equipment and facilities. • Ensure discipline and safety during sports activities. • Prepare reports, result analysis, and performance tracking. • Collaborate with other departments for holistic student development. Qualifications & Eligibility • Master’s Degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed.) from a recognized university. • B.P.Ed. with relevant experience may also apply. • Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in a reputed CBSE school (preferred). • Strong knowledge of CBSE Physical Education curriculum (Class XI & XII). • Experience in coaching and organizing competitive sports events.
