Secondary Math teacher (India)

Key Responsibilities1. Curriculum Planning & Instruction - Plan and deliver lessons strictly aligned with the syllabus and guidelines. - Cover prescribed NCERT Mathematics textbooks and supplementary materials. - Develop students’ conceptual clarity in Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Statistics, and Probability. - Use varied instructional strategies, including problem-solving sessions, real-life applications, and technology integration. - Prepare students effectively for CBSE Board Examinations. - Conduct periodic tests, assignments, and internal assessments. - Evaluate answer scripts according to CBSE marking schemes. - Maintain accurate academic records and prepare progress reports. - Analyze student performance data to plan remedial and enrichment programs. Classroom Management - Maintain a disciplined, structured, and inclusive classroom environment. - Encourage logical reasoning and mathematical discussions. Student Support & Development - Provide additional academic support for struggling learners. - Encourage participation in mathematics competitions and Olympiads. - Mentor students academically and support their overall development. Qualifications and Requirements - Master’s Degree in Mathematics (M.Sc. Mathematics preferred). - Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from a recognized institution. - Minimum 2–5 years of experience teaching secondary/senior secondary classes in school (preferred).
