Job Title: Executive – Stores Cum Purchase Industry: Pneumatic Actuators-Valves / Engineering / Manufacturing / Industrial Products Experience: 3 to 6 Years Location: SEZ, Sachin, Surat Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Executive – Stores Cum Purchase to manage inventory control, material planning, vendor coordination, and procurement activities in a Pneumatic Actuators manufacturing setup. The candidate should have hands-on experience in engineering stores, raw material procurement, and must be familiar with ISO quality systems and ISO safety standards. Key Responsibilities: • Stores Management: • Handling inward and outward material entries in ERP/Tally system • Maintaining raw material, bought-out parts, and consumables stock • Monitoring minimum stock levels and initiating purchase requisitions • Proper storage and identification of materials as per FIFO method • Maintaining bin cards, stock registers, and inventory records • Conducting periodic physical stock verification • Ensuring traceability of components as per ISO requirements • Maintaining 5S standards in stores area • Handling rejection, scrap, and non-conforming material segregation • Purchase & Procurement: • Vendor sourcing and development for machining parts, castings, seals, fasteners, pneumatic components, etc. • Floating inquiries, preparing comparative statements, and negotiating rates • Issuing Purchase Orders and follow-ups for timely delivery • Ensuring quality compliance as per engineering drawings & specifications • Coordination with production & planning departments for material availability • Cost reduction initiatives through alternate sourcing • Maintaining vendor performance records • ISO & Safety Compliance: • Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 documentation procedures • Maintaining records required for internal and external audits • Following ISO safety standards and workplace safety norms • Ensuring proper handling and storage of hazardous materials • Supporting internal audits and corrective action implementation Required Skills: • Knowledge of engineering materials (Castings, Forgings, Machined parts, Pneumatic components) • Understanding of inventory control systems • Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems • Knowledge of ISO safety standards and 5S implementation • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software Qualification: • Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering OR B.Com with relevant industry experience • Additional certification in Stores / Supply Chain Management preferred Preferred Candidate Profile: • Experience in Pneumatic Actuators / Valve / Engineering manufacturing industry • Good understanding of technical drawings • Ability to work under pressure and meet production schedules • Strong coordination and communication skills • Stable job background
