Realty Capture Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Reality Capture Specialist to lead our high-precision 3D data acquisition and processing efforts. The ideal candidate will be a power user of the Leica RTC360 laser scanner and possess expert-level proficiency in Leica Cyclone 3DR for advanced modeling, inspection, and automated deliverables. You will be responsible for transforming complex physical environments into actionable digital twins. ​Key Responsibilities: ​Field Operations: Execute high-speed 3D laser scanning using the Leica RTC360, utilizing VIS technology for real-time pre-registration via the Cyclone FIELD 360 app. ​Data Processing: Perform scan registration and QA/QC in Cyclone REGISTER 360 PLUS, ensuring high-precision alignment and cleaning of massive datasets. ​Advanced Deliverables: Utilize Cyclone 3DR to create high-value outputs, including: ​Automated Meshing: Creating lightweight, textured 3D meshes from point clouds. ​Feature Extraction: Running "Scan-to-Pipe" or "Scan-to-Plan" workflows. ​Analysis: Performing as-built vs. design intent (BIM) inspections, tank calibrations, or volume calculations. ​AI Classification: Applying AI-driven segmentation to clean outdoor or industrial data efficiently. ​Workflow Optimization: Leverage scripting within 3DR and LGSx file exports to streamline the delivery of data to clients or BIM teams. ​Required Skills & Qualifications: ​Hardware: 2+ years of hands-on experience with the Leica RTC360 scanner. ​Software Proficiency: * Expertise in Leica Cyclone 3DR (3DReshaper legacy). ​Mastery of Cyclone REGISTER 360 or Cyclone CORE. ​Working knowledge of CAD/BIM platforms (Revit, Civil 3D, or AutoCAD). ​Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of coordinate systems, survey control integration, and point cloud density management. ​Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot registration errors and "hole-fill" complex meshes for high-fidelity modeling.
