USG ECO Typist (India)

Job description We are hiring a Jr. Executive -Typist for the 2D Echo Department. The role involves accurate medical typing, preparation of Echocardiography & Sonography reports, coordination with cardiologists, and maintaining confidentiality and turnaround time standards. Key Responsibilities: - Listen to cardiologists dictations and type accurate 2D Echo reports. - Use correct medical terminology, approved formats, and hospital templates. - Verify patient details such as name, age, UHID, and other identifiers before finalizing reports. - Maintain high accuracy, consistency, and typing speed. - Proofread, edit, and correct transcription errors prior to submission. - Coordinate with cardiologists for clarification of unclear dictations. - Ensure reports are delivered within defined turnaround time (TAT). - Maintain confidentiality and security of patient medical records. - Assist in record maintenance and archiving as per hospital policy. - Support typing of other diagnostic reports such as ECG, TMT, and Holter when required. - Transcribe ultrasound reports and other diagnostic imaging reports accurately and efficiently. - Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations. - Review and edit documents for clarity, grammar, and medical terminology accuracy. - Collaborate with sonographers and radiologists to clarify any discrepancies in reports. - Maintain organized records of all transcribed documents. - Utilize specialized software and tools for transcription and record-keeping. - Assist in administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling and managing patient records.
