About the internship: We are looking for the outliers. The builders. The engineers who look at a 50-million case backlog and see a distributed systems problem waiting to be solved. We are recruiting a select cohort of engineering interns to work directly with the founding team in building the 'Cognitive Architecture' of India's first true Legal Operating System. This is not a maintenance role. You will not be fixing bugs in a legacy codebase. You will be building Zero to One. You will be responsible for forging the 'Steel' (Workflow Automation) and sharpening the 'Arrowhead' (Agentic Intelligence) that will power millions of legal interactions. Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Build Agentic Workflows: You will engineer the 'Drafting Agents' that can read a case file and generate a court-compliant bail application in seconds. 2. Solve the 'Hallucination' Problem: You will build the 'Citation Verification Engine' a deterministic guardrail system that ensures our AI never invents a law. 3. Scale for India: You will optimize inference costs and latency for a system designed to serve the population scale, ensuring our 'Voice-First' interface works as seamlessly in a village in Bihar as it does in a boardroom in Mumbai. You must possess Python expertise and a hunger for complex system design. We require at least one completed project or internship with exposure to the modern AI stack. An indicative list of such stack elements: Orchestration: Experience constructing agentic flows using LangChain, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex. Vector Intelligence: Implementation of high-scale vector databases like Pinecone or Milvus. Data Architecture: Handling structured and unstructured data via PostgreSQL (pgvector) or Knowledge Graphs (Neo4j). Embeddings & Models: Working with Hugging Face transformers and LLM integration. Full Stack Fluency: Proficiency in TypeScript / Node.js to bind the intelligence to the interface.
