Video Production Intern

Open Roles: 3 Work Location: Gurugram About the Role kindlife is looking for a creative, hands-on Video Editor & Videographer who can handle end-to-end video creation, from shooting to final edits. This role is ideal for someone who understands digital-first storytelling and can create high-impact video content across multiple formats and platforms. Key Responsibilities • Videography • Shoot high-quality video content for: Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, YouTube Long-format videos, Micro-dramas & episodic content • Brand campaigns, product videos, and in-house requirements • Handle camera setup, lighting, framing, and audio during shoots • Collaborate with the content, social media, and marketing teams to execute creative concepts • Be adaptable to studio shoots, office shoots, outdoor shoots, and quick-turnaround content Video Editing • Edit videos optimized for different platforms (Instagram, YouTube, etc.) • Create engaging edits with strong pacing, transitions, subtitles, sound design, and music • Edit both short-form (15–90 sec) and long-form content (5–30 mins) • Maintain brand consistency in look, tone, and storytelling • Manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously • Required Skills & Tools • Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro Working knowledge of: • Adobe After Effects (basic motion graphics) • Adobe Photoshop (thumbnails & minor design support) • Adobe Audition or similar audio tools (preferred) • Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve (bonus, not mandatory) • Understanding of aspect ratios, platform specs, and content trends • Ability to edit fast without compromising quality Experience & Qualifications • Minimum 1 year of professional work experience (internships + freelance count if substantial) • Must have a strong portfolio / showreel showcasing: Reels & Shorts, Long-form YouTube content, Any narrative or micro-drama work (if available) • Experience working with brands, creators, or digital platforms is a plus What We’re Looking For • Someone who understands social-first content • Creative thinker with a strong visual sense • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-style environment • Open to feedback and collaborative iteration • Self-driven, organized, and deadline-oriented
