Art Teacher (KG to Grade 7) (India)

Job Summary Kingston High School is seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher to inspire students from kindergarten to Grade 7. The role involves nurturing artistic expression, creativity, and foundational art skills aligned with the ICSE/ISC curriculum framework. Key Responsibilities - Plan and deliver engaging art lessons for KG to Grade 7 students - Teach a range of techniques including drawing, painting, craft, and mixed media - Foster creativity, imagination, and self-expression in students - Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and project-based activities - Organize art displays, exhibitions, and school events - Assess student progress through portfolios, classwork, and projects - Maintain art materials, tools, and classroom discipline - Collaborate with teachers to integrate art with cross-curricular themes - Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment Eligibility & Qualifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Fine Arts / Visual Arts / Applied Arts - B.Ed. preferred - 1–3 years of teaching experience (school teaching preferred) - Strong knowledge of age-appropriate art techniques and materials Skills Required - Creativity and artistic ability - Excellent classroom management - Robust communication and student engagement skills - Ability to motivate and encourage young learners - Organizational and planning skills Preferred Attributes - Experience in ICSE/ISC schools - Ability to conduct art competitions, exhibitions, and clubs - Familiarity with digital art tools is an added advantage What We Offer - Supportive and collaborative work environment - Opportunities for professional growth - Platform to showcase student creativity through events and exhibitions Please send your CV to Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
