Quality Assurance

Role: • We are looking for a QA (ATPD) to handle QA activities for special projects including BARC, NPCIL, and Indian Navy. • The role ensures adherence to approved quality standards, codes, and documentation requirements. Key Responsibilities • Prepare QAPs and test procedures as per tender specifications; coordinate customer approvals. • Perform failure analysis and recommend heat treatment cycles for development orders. • Plan, execute, and monitor inspection activities throughout the manufacturing cycle. • Prepare inspection reports, maintain customer-approved documents, and obtain required certifications. • Raise inspection calls for raw materials, components, and assemblies as per QAP. • Identify process gaps, conduct audits, and drive improvements through root cause analysis. • Handle NCRsraising, reviewing, coordinating deviations, and ensuring timely closure. • Conduct inprocess inspections (balancing, hydro testing, helium leak testing). • Visit vendors to witness critical tests: chemical, mechanical, micro/macro, IGC, bend tests, hydro, and NDE. • Prepare route cards, review material test certificates, and generate receiving inspection reports. Required Skills • Strong knowledge of metallurgy and manufacturing processes (forging, casting). • Familiarity with standards such as ASME, ASTM, IS, EN. • Understanding of NDE & welding processes; NDE Level II (LPE, RT, UT) mandatory. • Good communication skills and strong analytical ability.
