3D Art Generalist ₹20,000/month Remote, Full-Time, Contract-based Expected joining date: Immediate Timezone: Indian Standard Time (GMT +5:30) - *Job Overview:** We are seeking a skilled and motivated 3D Artist to join our development team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a background in Unity development, a keen eye for detail, a strong portfolio focused on polished game ready assets and a passion for high-quality narrative driven games. - *Key Responsibilities:** - Designing, creating, rigging and animating realistic 3D Models and textures for characters, environments and props based on the given specifications and timelines - Creating modular 3D models (i.e. models which can be changed or reused with minimal effort) - Ensuring created assets meet technical specifications and pipeline requirements for the Unity Engine - Collaborating with the project lead to interpret and implement a consistent visual style - Collaborating with other artists to ensure that the final deliverable meets project requirements and standards - *Requirements:** - Ability to work quickly, effectively and efficiently - Strong portfolio showcasing realistic & polished game ready assets, interior/exterior set dressing, and prop modelling/texturing - Experience in creating and designing models based on concept art - Proficiency in Maya/3DS Max, ZBrush, Blender, Substance Painter, Substance Designer (or equivalent tools) - Knowledge of the Unity game engine - Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills - *Not required but a huge plus:** - Professional experience in 3D modelling or related fields - Demonstrate a robust understanding of Unity shaders; be prepared to build or tweak custom shaders to achieve specific visual effects. - Understanding of game lighting techniques to set the mood and tone of game environments (baked and real-time). - Bachelor's degree in Art, Graphic Design, or related fields - *How to apply:** Send your resume, portfolio link and a short paragraph about the art style/direction of your favourite game, along with why it is your favourite to: - *** Kindly make sure your links are working, applications with broken links will be disqualified.
