Resident Medical Officer (RMO) REQUIRED FOR ICU

Part-Time ICU Medical Officer Required We are looking for qualified and dedicated doctors to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team on a part-time basis. The role involves providing critical care support, monitoring admitted patients, and ensuring prompt medical intervention when required. Role Overview The ICU Medical Officer will be responsible for delivering round-the-clock clinical care to critically ill patients, working in coordination with consultants, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams to maintain high standards of patient management. ______________ Key Responsibilities 1. Assess and manage critically ill patients admitted to the ICU. 2. Perform regular clinical evaluations and monitor patient progress. 3. Initiate and modify treatment plans as per clinical findings and investigations. 4. Respond immediately to emergencies and deteriorating patient conditions. 5. Perform/Assist senior consultants during ICU procedures when required. 6. Ensure accurate documentation of case records, treatment charts, and progress notes. 7. Coordinate effectively with nursing staff for ventilator management, medication administration, and emergency care. 8. Communicate clearly with patients’ families regarding clinical status and updates. 9. Maintain adherence to hospital protocols and critical care guidelines. ______________ Eligibility Criteria 1. MBBS from a recognized medical institution. 2. Valid Medical Council registration (West Bengal registration mandatory). 3. Internship completed (interns are not eligible). 4. Prior experience of 1 year in ICU/Emergency preferred. ______________ Skills Required 1. Sound clinical judgment in critical care settings. 2. Ability to work efficiently under pressure. 3. Strong teamwork and communication skills. 4.
