Role Overview: At Kyndryl, we are looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team of talented Technical Specialists. As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will be responsible for protecting our customers' computer systems and networks from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification, or destruction. Your role will involve defending against various cyber threats such as malware, ransomware, phishing attacks, and data breaches. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to implement new cybersecurity systems and policies to enhance the security of our customers' data and assets. This role also involves monitoring potential threats, conducting proof-of-concepts with new cybersecurity software, and enriching the organization's knowledge regarding cyber threats and best practices. You will play a crucial role in conducting penetration testing, threat and vulnerability assessments, researching cybersecurity threats, performing root cause analysis, and assisting in the creation and implementation of security solutions. Furthermore, you will have the chance to work on security innovation, exploring innovative ideas that could impact the field of cybersecurity. Key Responsibilities: - Protecting customers' computer systems and networks from cyber threats - Implementing new cybersecurity systems and policies - Monitoring and reviewing potential threats and conducting proof-of-concepts with new cybersecurity software - Providing automation scripts for threat hunting and enriching the organization's knowledge of cyber threats - Conducting penetration testing, threat and vulnerability assessments, and responding to cybersecurity breaches - Researching and evaluating cybersecurity threats, performing root cause analysis, and assisting in the creation of security solutions - Working on security innovation and exploring new ideas in cybersecurity Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or equivalent degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of 12 to 15 years' experience in network administration support or similar technical roles - Experience managing a team of network security engineers - Networking certifications including Cisco/Arista/Palo Alto - Knowledge in Arista Data Centre Network, Palo Alto Firewalls, and Network Security best practices - Strong problem management skills and ability to develop incident resolution plans - Project management skills and ability to track operational projects - Expertise in Arista/Palo Alto/Network/Firewall operations - ITIL/CCIE certifications preferred Additional Company Details: At Kyndryl, we believe in fostering a culture of kinship and inclusivity.
