Senior Physical Design Engineer

Job Title: Physical Design Engineer Experience: 5+ Years Education: B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech in Electronics, VLSI. Location: Bangalore Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Physical Design Engineer with 5+ years of experience in ASIC physical design and implementation. The candidate should have strong knowledge of the complete physical design flow from floorplanning to signoff. Key Responsibilities: Perform floorplanning, placement, CTS, routing, and timing closure . Work on full chip and block level physical design implementation . Handle timing analysis and closure using industry tools. Work closely with STA, RTL, and verification teams for design optimization. Perform power, performance, and area (PPA) optimization . Ensure DRC, LVS, and physical verification signoff . Required Skills: Strong experience in ASIC Physical Design flow . Hands-on experience with Synopsys ICC2 / Cadence Innovus . Knowledge of STA tools like PrimeTime or Tempus . Experience in advanced technology nodes (28nm / 16nm / 7nm / 5nm) . Good understanding of low power design techniques .
