You will be joining Lexitas India Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of the multinational company Lexitas, as an Information Security Analyst. Your main responsibility will be to support information security, privacy, risk, and compliance programs and activities under the direction of the VP of Information Security or designated Information Security Manager. Here is a breakdown of what this role entails:
• *Role Overview:**
As an Information Security Analyst, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining a comprehensive security program for Lexitas. Your support in maintaining the security posture and protection of electronically and physically stored information assets across systems is vital. Your tasks will include design, implementation, configuration, documentation, and maintenance to mitigate risks to the business and its assets. Collaboration with providers, managing and monitoring tools, and facilitating processes and procedures will also be part of your responsibilities.
• *Key Responsibilities:**
- Support IT security, privacy, risk, and compliance systems, processes, and activities
- Monitor computer networks and associated tools for security issues
- Assist in project management, tracking, and documentation of programs and activities
- Investigate security breaches and incidents, documenting and assessing their impact
- Conduct security tests, risk assessments, and audits to uncover vulnerabilities
- Track and mitigate vulnerabilities to maintain a high security standard
- Support best practices for IT security, privacy, and compliance
- Research security enhancements and make recommendations to management
- Prepare reports detailing security, privacy, and compliance risk assessment findings
- Support Security Operations Center functions and Incident Response activities
- Provide guidance on IT Security, Privacy, Risk, and Compliance policies
• *Qualifications Required:**
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related field strongly preferred
- IAT Level-2 technical certification strongly preferred (Comp TIA Security+ or CISSP) or ability to obtain within first 90 days of hire
- 5+ years experience as an Information Security Analyst or in a SOC role
- Experience with LAN/WAN networking, IP addressing, routing concepts, and operating systems
- Knowledge of primary Information Security, Privacy, Risk, and compliance standards and frameworks
- Experience in administering information security software and controls
- Familiarity with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery protocols
- Exposure to ITIL (Incident/Change Management) preferred
