The Opportunity: We are looking for a detail-oriented Medical Scribe to provide live scribing support for home health clinicians during patient visits. In this role, you will listen to patient–clinician interactions in real time and accurately document clinical notes in the electronic health record (EHR). The Medical Scribe helps ensure timely and accurate documentation so clinicians can focus on delivering quality patient care. This position is remote, so offers you the flexibility of working from home. Key responsibilities will include: • Perform real-time documentation (live scribing) during home health patient visits. • Accurately record patient history, assessments, care plans, and clinician observations in the EHR. • Document visit notes, orders, and follow-up instructions as directed by the clinician. • Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with healthcare standards. • Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times. • Communicate with clinicians to clarify documentation when necessary. To succeed in this role you will need: • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or a related field preferred. • Prior experience as a Medical Scribe or healthcare documentation specialist preferred. • Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical documentation. • Experience working with EHR systems. • Strong typing, listening, and attention to detail skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, virtual clinical environment.
