Lab Technician cum Nursing Assistant

The Lab Technician cum Nursing Assistant is responsible for assisting in laboratory diagnostic procedures and providing basic nursing support to patients. The role includes collecting samples, performing basic laboratory tests, maintaining laboratory equipment, assisting doctors and nurses, and ensuring proper patient care and hygiene within the facility. Key Responsibilities: • Collect blood, urine, and other specimens from patients for laboratory testing. • Perform basic laboratory tests as per standard operating procedures. • Label and store samples properly for analysis. • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure cleanliness of the lab area. • Record and maintain laboratory reports and patient test data. • Ensure proper sterilization and disposal of biomedical waste. • Coordinate with doctors for timely test reports. Nursing Support Duties • Assist doctors and nurses during patient examination and procedures. • Monitor basic patient vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure. • Provide basic patient care and assist in patient movement if required. • Prepare patients for diagnostic tests or minor procedures. • Maintain patient records and assist in documentation. • Ensure patient comfort and maintain hygiene standards. Administrative & Compliance Duties • Maintain inventory of laboratory and nursing consumables. • Follow hospital infection control protocols. • Ensure compliance with clinical and safety standards. • Maintain confidentiality of patient records. Qualification • Diploma / Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) or Nursing Assistant Course. • Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in hospital/diagnostic centre preferred. Pay: ₹1,250.00 - ₹1,500.00 per hour Work Location: In person
