Responsibilities & Key Deliverables 1) Commodity Management - Developing Sourcing Strategies, Supply Market / Industry study, Understanding Commodity/ RM market cycles, Supplier Selection & Assessment, Supplier negotiation, Build Strong Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), Driving Supplier Innovations and VA/VE ideas, Capex/investment settlement 2) Managing Total Cost of ownership (TCO) through Cost Saving & Value Engineering, Product / Component costing, Managing RFQ evaluation and price settlements & New Business Awards 3) Material Analysis, Budgeting & cost containment 4) Demand mapping, Capacity planning, Performance monitoring & de-bottleneck issues 5) Identification, Benchmarking & Sourcing of Technology Items 6) Identifying Supplier Risk & its Mitigation strategy (Associated with commodity, conversion, fire & safety, Cyber security etc) 7) Digitization, Spend / Data Analytics & Leverage technology tools for effective analysis Preferred Industries Automobile Farm Sector Education Qualification B.E./B. Tech (Mechanical/Production/Automobile), M.B.A Desirable Excellent Academic Performance / Graduation from Tier 1 College General Experience A) 6 to 12 yrs. experience B) Prefered experience in handling sourcing of Proprietory components, Sheet metal / Elastomers process or Commercial Vehicle Application products.
