In 1982, Dr. Dwarkadasji Lohiya laid the foundation of Marathwada Navnirman Lokayat (MANAVLOK), a voluntary organisation, working for the socioeconomic upliftment of the rural poor in the Marathwada region of Maharashtra State in India. The organisation is working in the sectors of Watershed, Agriculture, Disaster Relief Services, Gender Equality, Elder and Disabled care, as an approach to integrated rural development. MANAVLOK is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Field Data Analyst (MIS) for the Soil and Water Resource Management Program in Buldhana District. The role involves managing project data systems, ensuring accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting to support effective program implementation and donor compliance. The selected candidate will work closely with field teams to strengthen monitoring systems, track project indicators, and generate actionable insights for informed decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Data Collection ? Collect field data from watershed project sites. ? Record information about: ? Water conservation structures (check dams, farm ponds) ? Plantation Activities ? Soil conservation work ? Farmer Participation ? Project Progress ? Agriculture Interventions ? Training & Capacity Building Programs MIS Data Entry ? Enter field data into MIS portals or databases. ? Maintain daily/weekly project records. ? Update project dashboards. Data Analysis ? Analyze Project data to track project performance. ? Generate reports on: ? Work completion ? Budget utilization ? Impact of watershed activities Report Preparation ? Create charts, tables, and progress summaries.[SG1] ? Village Survey & Collect Data Analysis ? Assistance in the Preparation of Progress Report ? Collect Project related Secondary data Field Coordination ? Coordinate with Project Coordinators, Engineers, and Field Officers. ? Verify data accuracy from field teams. ? Maintain proper documentation and digital records of project activities ? Provide training and support to field staff on data collection tools and reporting systems. Eligibility Criteria: Education: ? Graduate/Postgraduate in Statistics, Data Management, Computer Applications, Rural Development, or related field. Experience: ? Minimum 3–5 years of experience in MIS, data management, or monitoring & evaluation (experience in the NGO sector preferred). ? Proficiency in MS Excel, data analysis tools, and reporting software. ? Experience with digital data collection tools (e.g., mobile-based survey applications) preferred. ? Willingness to travel to field locations as required. Skills & Competencies: ? Expert in Microsoft Excel (Advanced Level) ? Basic data analysis ? Knowledge of MIS systems ? Data collection and verification ? Basic understanding of watershed projects ? Communication with field teams ? High attention to detail and data accuracy ? Ability to work collaboratively with field teams ? Mandatory Language Proficiency: Fluent in Marathi, Hindi, and English (speaking, writing, typing). Personal Attributes: ? Mission-driven with a passion for rural development and social impact. ? Salary Range: ?20,000 - ?25,000 per month, depending on skills and experience, with an annual increment of approximately 5% based on performance and organizational policies. ?
