Remote Project Management Assistant & Jira Expert (India)

About the Role I am a Project Manager at a major manufacturing facility in the USA. I am looking for a highly active Job Support Specialist based in India to help me manage a high-priority machine installation project . This is a hands-on "shadowing" role where you will be my technical and organizational backbone. Schedule & Connection - Location: Remote (Must be based in India). - Sync-ups: You must be available to connect twice daily via video/audio call: - Morning Sync (EST): Kickoff the day, review the Jira board, and set priorities. - Evening Sync (EST): Wrap up the day's progress, update statuses, and prep for the next day. Key Responsibilities - Jira Architecture: Build and maintain custom Jira boards (Kanban/Scrum) specifically for tracking industrial machinery installation. - Technical Workflow: Set up automation for vendor tracking, parts delivery, and technical milestones for Bulgarian-sourced equipment. - Documentation: Maintain project logs, meeting minutes, and technical glossaries. - Active Monitoring: Keep a "bird's eye view" of the project to alert me of any bottlenecks before they become issues. Required Experience - Industry Knowledge: Experience working with or for companies in die-casting, aluminum fabrication, or heavy industrial manufacturing (e.g., similar to Nidec, Cambria, or ZF Group). - Jira Mastery: 3+ years of advanced Jira administration. - Communication: Exceptional English skills; able to understand technical manufacturing terms and US business etiquette.
