Accountant

• Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, maintain financial records, and assist in financial reporting and statutory compliance. Key Responsibilities: • Maintain and update accounting entries and General Ledger. • Assist in preparing Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss statements, and other financial reports. • Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments. • Perform bank reconciliations and maintain supporting financial records. • Assist in GST compliance, tax documentation, and statutory filings. • Support inventory and stock reconciliation related to gold, diamonds, and jewellery items. • Maintain proper documentation and accounting records. • Assist the Senior Accountant in MIS reports, audits, and financial analysis. • Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance. • 3 – 6 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail or trading businesses. • Basic knowledge of GST, taxation, and financial reporting. • Proficiency in Tally/ERP and MS Excel. • Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
