Job Title: Patient Counsellor Industry: Healthcare / Eye Care Location: Paschim Vihar/ Noida/ Bhadurgarh/ Ghaiziabad Department: Patient Care / Operations Reporting To: Operations Manager / Hospital Administrator Job Summary The Patient Counsellor will be responsible for guiding patients through their treatment journey, explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and ensuring a smooth patient experience. The role includes counseling patients about treatment options, surgery procedures, and costs while maintaining high levels of patient satisfaction. Key Responsibilities  Counsel patients about eye treatments, surgeries, and procedures recommended by doctors.  Explain treatment plans for conditions such as Cataract, Glaucoma, and Refractive Error.  Provide clear information regarding surgery procedures, benefits, risks, and recovery process.  Discuss treatment costs, packages, and payment options with patients.  Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and hospital staff for patient scheduling and treatment planning.  Address patient concerns and ensure high patient satisfaction.  Maintain proper patient records and follow-up schedules.  Support patients during pre-surgery and post-surgery counseling.  Assist in improving the overall patient experience and service quality. Required Skills  Strong communication and counseling skills  Ability to explain medical procedures in simple terms  Good interpersonal and patient handling skills  Problem-solving and customer service orientation Qualifications  Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Psychology, Social Work, or related field Experience  1–4 years of experience in patient counseling, healthcare coordination, or hospital operations  Experience in hospital or healthcare setting preferred Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)  Patient satisfaction and feedback  Treatment conversion rate  Successful coordination of surgeries and treatments  Patient follow-up and retention
