Industrial Control Specialist

You will be joining Marelli as an Industrial Control (Treasury & Project Controller) in the Finance ELS team, reporting directly to the Finance Manager. Your responsibilities will include:
- Treasury & Banking
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, banking operations, and prepare cashflow forecasts for smooth payments and plant functioning.
- Oversee daily treasury activities, including payments, collections, and bank reconciliations.
- Maintain relationships with financial institutions, negotiate banking facilities, and coordinate treasury-related audits.
- Prepare and analyze treasury reports for management, providing actionable insights.
- Project Controlling
- Prepare project reports and dashboards to highlight new business acquisition opportunities and support company KPIs.
- Monitor project budgets, costs, and timelines to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Analyze variances and recommend corrective actions for project financial performance.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to track progress and resolve issues.
- Present risk and opportunity impacts during business meetings and propose mitigation actions.
- Accounts Receivables
- Manage and monitor customer accounts for timely collection of receivables.
- Reconcile accounts and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve customer queries and prevent bad debts.
- Prepare aging reports, analyze overdue balances, and implement collection strategies.
- Budgeting and Costing
- Analyze production costs and prepare financial reports.
- Implement and maintain standard costing systems.
- Identify and drive cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor adherence to budgets and financial plans.
Qualifications required for this role include being a Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2-4 years of experience. Other skills that would be welcomed are:
- Knowledge of Banks and Financial Transactions
- Understanding of financial statements
- Knowledge of costing and budgeting
- Manufacturing operations - PO, PR, GRN
- Knowledge about SAP
- MS Excel proficiency
