Senior Blockchain

Location: Remote / Hybrid Employment Type: Full-time About the Role We are seeking a Senior Blockchain & Backend Engineer to help design and build secure digital infrastructure focused on data integrity, traceability, and verifiable records across regulated industries. In this role, you will work on systems that require high assurance, cryptographic verification, distributed architectures, and secure data exchange between multiple stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in blockchain technologies, backend engineering, and distributed systems, with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into scalable, production-grade solutions. Key Responsibilities • System Architecture • Design and implement secure distributed systems that ensure data integrity, auditability, and traceability. • Architect backend services that interact with blockchain networks and decentralized storage systems. • Develop scalable APIs and microservices supporting multi-stakeholder platforms. • Blockchain Development • Design and deploy smart contracts for secure record verification and lifecycle management. • Integrate blockchain networks with off-chain data systems and enterprise applications. • Implement cryptographic mechanisms to support tamper-proof records and verification workflows. • Backend Engineering • Build high-performance backend services using Golang, Node.js, or similar languages. • Develop REST or GraphQL APIs for secure data exchange. • Design and implement database schemas for structured and semi-structured datasets. • Security & Compliance • Implement secure authentication and authorization frameworks. • Design systems aligned with data security and compliance requirements in regulated industries. • Conduct code reviews, security assessments, and testing to ensure system robustness. • Collaboration • Work closely with product, engineering, and external stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. • Contribute to system documentation, architecture diagrams, and technical specifications. Required Qualifications • 4+ years of experience in backend or distributed systems engineering • Hands-on experience with blockchain development (Ethereum, EVM-based ecosystems, or similar) • Strong programming experience in Golang, Rust, Java, or Node.js • Experience developing smart contracts using Solidity or equivalent languages • Solid understanding of cryptography, digital signatures, and secure data architectures • Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure Preferred Experience • Experience building traceability or data verification platforms • Familiarity with decentralized storage technologies (e.g., IPFS) • Knowledge of identity frameworks or verifiable credentials • Experience working with high-integrity data systems or regulated industries • Experience integrating enterprise systems or supply chain platforms What We Offer • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge distributed infrastructure • Exposure to large-scale multi-stakeholder digital ecosystems • Flexible remote or hybrid work environment • Competitive compensation based on experience
