Role Overview
We are looking for a Copywriter who understands marketing communication — not just writing.
You will create messaging for:
• websites
• campaigns
• brand communication
• sales communication
• social media
• corporate collateral
The role involves both B2B and B2C communication.
You will often work with incomplete inputs and subject-matter experts and will be expected to extract clarity before writing.
This is not a blog/SEO article writing role.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Messaging (Primary Responsibility)
• Develop marketing communication concepts and messaging
• Write website copy (homepages, service pages, landing pages)
• Write campaign messaging and taglines
• Create ad copy (digital & print)
• Write social media communication (especially LinkedIn)
Communication Structuring
• Understand business offerings and translate into audience-ready language
• Identify positioning and value propositions
• Simplify technical or complex information
• Adapt messaging for different audience types (decision-makers, users, buyers)
Multi-Format Writing
• Website copy
• Campaign copy
• Brochures & corporate collateral
• Emailers & outreach communication
• Case studies & product communication
• Presentation copy
Collaboration
• Work with designers to build communication concepts
• Participate in briefing and requirement discussions
• Revise communication based on feedback and strategy direction
• Support client service team in communication clarity
Required Skills
• Strong command of written English
• Ability to write concise, clear, persuasive copy
• Understanding of marketing messaging and positioning
• Ability to adapt tone for different audiences
• Comfortable working with both B2B and B2C communication
Preferred Experience
• Agency copywriting or brand communication role
• Website copywriting
• Campaign copywriting
• Working with designers on creatives
• Writing for LinkedIn communication
This role is not suitable for candidates whose experience is only:
• SEO blogs/articles
• academic writing
• technical documentation
• purely journalistic writing
