About the Role: As a Pharmacy Product Intern at Medikloud, you’ll work at the intersection of healthcare and technology. You will support the development of our HMS platform by building and validating drug databases, testing pharmacy workflows, and providing clinical insights to improve product usability and safety. This role offers hands-on exposure to digital health product development and hospital systems.
Responsibilities:
Medicine & Drug Database Management
• Create, validate, and maintain comprehensive drug master databases
• Map generic and brand medicines, strengths, dosage forms, and pack sizes
• Classify drugs by therapeutic category and schedules (H, H1, X, Narcotics)
• Identify LASA (Look-Alike Sound-Alike) medications and safety risks
Product Testing & UAT
• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of pharmacy and e-prescription modules
• Validate dispensing workflows, inventory deductions, and billing logic
• Test batch tracking, expiry management, and substitution rules
• Identify clinical or medication safety gaps in the product
Pharmacy Workflow Research
• Study hospital pharmacy operations (IP, OP, ward stock, emergency trays)
• Help design digital workflows for dispensing and medication management
• Recommend improvements aligned with NABH/JCI standards
Market & Competitor Research
• Analyze competitor HMS/pharmacy software features
• Research hospital pharmacy digitization trends
• Identify gaps in drug data, compliance, and workflow automation
Training & Implementation Support
• Assist in training pharmacists and hospital staff
• Support product demos and go-live implementations
• Help create SOPs, user manuals, and training materials
Inventory & Compliance Support
• Validate FEFO/FIFO inventory logic
• Support controlled drug documentation workflows
• Ensure regulatory alignment with CDSCO/DCGI guidelines
Qualifications:
• Pursuing or recently completed a MBA in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Previous internship or coursework in digital marketing preferred.
• Familiarity with CRM and email marketing platforms.
• Basic understanding of marketing analytics and spreadsheet tools.
Required Skills:
• Practical experience with modern marketing tools and strategies.
