AI /ML Engineer Junior

As an AI/ML Engineer at Meltwater, you will play a vital role in building cutting-edge social solutions for the global client base within the Explore mission. You are expected to be a proactive and quick-learning engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment. The development teams at Meltwater take full ownership of their subsystems and infrastructure, including running on-call rotations. Your role will involve a heavy reliance on Software Engineering in AI/ML and Data Science. • *Key Responsibilities:** - Experience with cloud infrastructure and containerization, with knowledge of Docker, Azure, or AWS (Azure preferred) - Proficiency in Data Preparation, Model Lifecycle (training, serving, and registries), and Natural Language Processing (NLP) and LLMs - Opportunity to push the boundaries of the technology stack by modifying open-source libraries and innovating with existing technologies - Passion for distributed systems at scale and extracting insights from vast amounts of data • *Qualifications Required:** - Bachelors or masters degree in computer science or equivalent, or demonstrable experience - Proven experience as a Software Engineer in AI/ML and Data Science with a minimum of 2-4 years of working experience - Strong working experience in Python and software engineering principles (2 years) - Experience with TensorFlow / PyTorch (2 years) - Experience with ML-Ops Principles (1 year) - Good theoretical knowledge of AI / Data Science in areas such as Natural Language Processing (NLP) and LLMs, Neural Networks, Topic Modeling and Clustering, Time Series Analysis (TSA), Retrieval Augmented Generation, and Speech to Text - Excellent communication and collaboration skills Meltwater offers comprehensive paid time off options for work-life balance, tailored health insurance, employee assistance programs covering various areas of well-being, an energetic work environment with a hybrid work style, family leave program, inclusive community, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
