About the Role The Head of Projects is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and execution of Space Frame, PEB, and structural steel projects, ensuring successful delivery from design, fabrication, material dispatch, erection, to final handover while maintaining project timelines, cost control, safety, and quality standards. Project Planning & Strategy • Define project scope, milestones, erection methodology, and timelines for space frame and steel structure installations. • Plan project schedules covering fabrication, material dispatch, site mobilization, ground assembly, and aerial erection. • Allocate resources including manpower, cranes, equipment, and subcontractors based on project requirements. Responsibilities • Project Execution & Site Coordination • Lead end-to-end execution of space frame, PEB, and structural steel erection projects across multiple sites. • Coordinate activities between engineering, fabrication, logistics, and site erection teams to ensure smooth project flow. • Supervise stages including material dispatch, packing list verification, site unloading, segregation, ground assembly, and aerial erection. • Ensure structural alignment, bolt tightening, and erection as per approved drawings and specifications. • Team Leadership & Contractor Management • Lead and guide project engineers, site supervisors, erection teams, and subcontractors. • Manage manpower deployment, contractor coordination, and productivity monitoring across project sites. • Delegate responsibilities to site teams and ensure completion of project milestones. • Client Coordination & Stakeholder Management • Act as the primary contact for clients, consultants, and internal management regarding project execution. • Conduct progress review meetings, site inspections, and project updates with stakeholders. • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and technical specifications. • Cost Control & Project Monitoring • Manage project budgets, material utilization, and erection costs to maintain financial efficiency. • Track project progress through daily progress reports (DPR), milestone tracking, and ERP systems. • Identify delays or risks and implement corrective actions to maintain project schedules. • Safety, Quality & Compliance • Ensure adherence to safety standards, method statements, and JSA during fabrication and erection activities. • Maintain quality control for structural components, erection accuracy, and installation standards. • Oversee documentation including BOQ verification, site reports, and project completion records. • Project Completion & Handover • Oversee final erection completion, snag rectification, and structural inspections. • Ensure proper documentation including as-built drawings and project handover reports. • Deliver projects successfully while meeting client expectations, safety norms, and quality standards. Qualifications Industry Experience • Experience handling Space Frame structures, PEB systems, and structural steel projects, turnkey projects, managing multi-site project execution, fabrication coordination, logistics management, and large-span structural installations.
