Asset Servicing / Corporate Action Specialist

As an Equity Specialist at Millennium Management, your role will involve daily reconciliations and handling ad hoc trade queries related to settlement, same-day trade matching, and broker inquiries. Additionally, you may be assigned occasional project work for completion. Your responsibilities will include: - Monitoring, coordinating, booking, and communicating corporate actions to the trading teams - Handling daily tasks such as desk support, same-day trade matching, full reconciliations, and addressing PM/broker/counterparty queries - Addressing ad-hoc PnL issues related to corporate action bookings and entitlements Key Responsibilities: - Actively managing the Corporate Action process for the Global business - Conducting daily trade/cash/position/market value reconciliations - Interacting with trading groups and Prime Brokers - Handling funding queries on large cross-border deals - Monitoring intraday trades and ensuring correct capture - Resolving position/market value/trade discrepancies - Mitigating risk by ensuring timely completion and reporting of all trade and position breaks on T+1 - Providing regular MIS on event volume and complexity - Educating and assisting team members on asset servicing issues - Assisting in the development of proprietary systems Qualifications/Skills Required: - 5+ years of relevant experience in Asset Servicing/Corporate Action team, equity operations/support - Strong knowledge of Corporate Actions and processing from front to back - Practical working knowledge of equity swap mechanics in a Buy vs Sell side environment - Excellent Excel skills and familiarity with SQL - Ability to implement and maintain new systems, procedures, and controls - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines - Detail-oriented with strong ownership of work - Able to work independently with analytical skills and abstract reasoning - Good team player with a willingness to participate and help others - Able to prioritize in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment - Quick learner with a willingness to undertake new challenges and opportunities This is a summary description of the Equity Specialist role at Millennium Management, where your expertise and skills will contribute to the efficient handling of corporate actions and trade queries.
