Foundation Engineer - Flutter, Firebase & Location - Remote (India) Full-time · Early Stage / Startup Company Description: Mind Turf , established on May 19, 2022, is an online platform providing customized support through counseling and therapy services. Located in New Delhi, we offer easy access, anonymity, and the convenience of seeking help from home. Our panel of psychologists and counselors provide individual therapy, couple therapy, family therapy, and our unique Vent Out Services, catering to individuals on their personal wellness journeys. Role: You'll be the foundation engineer at Mind Turf - owning the Flutter app, Firebase, and backend. You make architecture calls, ship independently, and directly shape the product. Non-Negotiable- 5 to 6 Android apps built from scratch and currently live on Google Play Store-independently. What You'll Do • Build and own the app (Android-first) • Firebase- Firestore, Auth, Storage, Cloud Functions • backend- REST APIs, session management, integrations • Integrate Razorpay, video calling (Zoom/WebRTC), FCM notifications • Build media-heavy features - video feeds, image processing, smooth scrolling • Implement customisable overlays and canvas-based UI components - Own Play Store releases, billing, and native configurations end to end - Work directly with the founder on product direction Tech Stack - Mobile - Flutter (Dart) - Architecture- BLoC + MVVM - Backend - + Firebase (Firestore, Auth, Functions) - Payments- Google Play Billing + User Choice Billing (UCB) - Media- FFmpeg, video caching, image manipulation - Canvas- CustomPainter, image merging libraries - Video- Zoom SDK / WebRTC Must-Have Skills Flutter & Architecture • 5–6 live Play Store apps built solo - BLoC pattern and MVVM architecture — not just awareness, production use • API integration including authentication, pagination, and real-time data updates Media & Performance • Video processing with FFmpeg inside Flutter • Caching video feeds for smooth, lag-free scrolling • Image manipulation and processing at scale Native & Billing • Google Play Billing implementation • User Choice Billing (UCB) — mandatory, not optional • Native Android configurations — Gradle, AndroidManifest, platform channels • Bridging native code to Flutter via method channels Canvas & UI • CustomPainter for complex, customisable overlays • Image merging and compositing libraries • Pixel-perfect implementation from design files Good to Have • Social Media app experience • iOS publishing and App Store deployment • WebRTC / video SDK integrations • CI/CD — Fastlane, GitHub Actions • Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics Compensation • 3–4 LPA — first 3 months • Performance-based increment after 3 months • 100% Remote, India • Path to Lead Engineer / CTO as Mind Turf scales Interested candidates can send their resume to Please mention "Foundation Engineer Application" in the subject line.
