Assistant Manager - Content

About mPokket: mPokket is rapidly growing and well-funded fintech start-up in the lending domain. We provide instant micro loans to college students and young professionals in India over a mobile app. Our technology architecture and processes allow us to seamlessly onboard users, assess risk, and disburse and collect funds without any physical interface with our customers Responsibilities: • Leading overall content planning and creation efforts across all internal and external platforms including social media, website, newsletters etc. • Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies) • Manage PR activities in close partnership with PR agency and generate relevant and insightful content Writing and publishing articles, blog posts, and research papers and other marketing collaterals Develop content calendar and campaign ideas for social media (Google, Instagram, LinkedIn etc.) and web posts Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics, including to boost our SEO efforts • Work closely with the design team to develop high impact marketing campaigns Enforce brand guidelines across all internal and external departments including businesses, marketing, acquisition, PR, etc. Requirements: • Minimum 4 to 5 years of work experience as a Content Writer or similar role • Able to manage Social media especially LinkedIn • Strong analytical, writing, editing and verbal skills with good command of the English language • Strong sense of creative storytelling, content writing, user experience, and marketing Portfolio of published works • Knowledge about fintech / finance / lending would be a plus. • Experience doing research using multiple sources Familiarity with web publications • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Communication, Journalism, Marketing or relevant field.
