Website: Job details: • Job Description • Position Summary • The Technical Writer – IPC & SBOM is responsible for creating, structuring, and maintaining high quality technical documentation supporting wind turbine service operations. The role focuses on developing Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) content and managing Service Bills of Materials (SBOM). Key Responsibilities • 1. IPC Development - Create and update IPC documentation, including parts list tables and illustrations. - Analyze engineering documents to ensure accuracy. - Produce technical and isometric illustrations. - Track engineering changes and update documentation. • 2. SBOM Management - Create and maintain SBOM structures and specifications. - Drive SBOM-related system and process changes. - Manage SBOM project and operational requests. • 3. Technical Documentation Authoring - Author DITA compliant, reusable modular content. - Develop and maintain production and service documentation. - Ensure documentation meets quality, safety, and compliance standards. • 4. Cross Functional Collaboration - Collaborate with engineering teams for accurate technical data. - Coordinate tasks within technical projects and improvement initiatives. - Align documentation with Vestas’ global strategy. • 5. Quality & Continuous Improvement - Conduct RCA/CAPA activities. - Maintain documentation libraries and reusable content structures. • Qualifications & Skills - 2–3 years’ experience in technical writing or engineering documentation. - Experience with IPC, BOM/SBOM, and ERP systems (SAP/PDMLink). - Skilled in illustration tools (Adobe Illustrator, CAD, Isodraw). - Strong English communication skills. - Knowledge of DITA XML preferred.
