Role Overview As a Commi I, you will support the Demi Chef De Partie in daily kitchen operations, food preparation, and maintaining quality standards within the live kitchen environment at the store. This role is ideal for candidates looking to grow in the hospitality and culinary field. Key Responsibilities - Assist the Demi Chef De Partie in daily food preparation and kitchen operations. - Prepare ingredients including washing, peeling, cutting, marinating, and portioning. - Support in preparation of basic continental dishes, dips, platters, and fresh-cut items. - Ensure all food items are prepared as per standard recipes and presentation guidelines. - Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstations, equipment, and storage areas. - Always follow food safety and sanitation standards. - Assist in stock rotation (FIFO) and basic inventory checks. - Receive and store supplies properly under supervision. - Support during live kitchen operations, events, workshops, and tastings. - Ensure timely service and assist in smooth kitchen coordination. - Follow instructions from the Demi Chef De Partie and senior kitchen staff. Eligibility Criteria - Minimum qualification: Hotel Management (HM) / Diploma in Culinary Arts or relevant experience. - 1–2 years of experience in a similar kitchen role preferred. - Basic communication skills in English and Hindi. - Willingness to learn and grow in a retail café environment. Skills Required - Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation - Understanding of hygiene and food safety standards - Knife skills and ingredient preparation knowledge - Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately - Teamwork and coordination skills - Time management skills - Presentable and comfortable working in a customer-facing store setting Working Details - Working Days: 6 days a week - Working Hours: 9 hours per day - Shift Timing: 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM Perks - Mediclaim / ESIC as applicable - Provident Fund (PF) - Paid Leaves - No night shifts
