Research Intern – Cybersecurity & Threat Intelligence

We are inviting final-year engineering students who are passionate about cybersecurity, data analysis, and research to join us as Research Interns. This role is ideal for students who enjoy deep analysis, structured thinking, and producing high-quality technical research that contributes to real-world cybersecurity understanding. What you will work on • Conduct deep research and analytical studies on emerging cyber threats, attack techniques, and threat actor behavior • Contribute to whitepapers, technical reports, and research publications aligned with industry and academic standards • Perform structured analysis of: • Threat intelligence data • Malware, phishing, and attack campaigns • Security incidents, trends, and TTPs • Assist in building research-backed insights that support NeuraCyb’s intelligence platform and public research output • Collaborate with mentors to refine research methodology, technical writing, and analytical depth What we are looking for • Students pursuing final year of Engineering (B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech or equivalent) • Strong interest in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, analytics, or security research • Ability to read, analyze, and synthesize technical information • Good written communication skills with attention to clarity and structure • Self-driven mindset and willingness to learn independently Nice to have • Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts such as malware, phishing, SOC operations, or threat intelligence • Experience with research writing, blogs, reports, or academic projects • Basic understanding of data analysis, OSINT, or security tools What you will gain • Hands-on exposure to real-world cybersecurity research and intelligence workflows • Opportunity to contribute to whitepapers and published research • Mentorship from professionals working on active cybersecurity platforms • Internship completion certificate and professional recommendation upon successful completion • Strong research portfolio that supports higher studies or early-career cybersecurity roles Internship details • Duration: 12–18 weeks (flexible based on academic schedule) • Mode: Remote / Hybrid (depending on location and role alignment) • Citizenship: Indian • Start Date: Rolling applications Interested candidates can apply by messaging us or sharing their resume and a brief note on why they are interested in cybersecurity research.
